Software Customization


ParaView is "an open-source, multi-platform data analysis and visualization application". You will find it wherever huge amounts of data have to be visualized or analyzed, from Astrophysics to the representation of LIDAR data. It is open for extension with "plugins" and otherwise, written in Python or C++. Even the end user can use Python either for extending ParaView "from inside" or for the automatic generation of output "from outside". For more:

AthosGEO View is an example for such a customization for the special needs of quarry planning: some features had to be added, like the generation of block models from CSV files, import of DXF files or handling of cement specific moduli. Others are removed or hidden because they would be too confusing for most of the end users.

AthosGEO Blend is again an extension of AthosGEO View, with the cement or blending specific optimization and scheduling options added.


The know-how and experience that we are gaining with the development of our AthosGEO softwares we can adapt the softwares also to your specific needs. In the easiest case this might be the removal of not required features (and you have to know that there are many!), or you need to deal with a specific data format or you want to adapt the tool to your typical workflow.
